Pain is temporary. Discus-prolapse in 2011, I was just 19 at the time, after almost 4 months with pain and little or no help from physios, chiropractors and other conservative treatments, I was unable to move my right foot and almost unable to walk, the pain being unbearable, my doctor send me to undergo an acute surgery, and I had more than the size of a thumb of prolapse removed from my spine which was putting pressure on all the nerves from that point and down, yep that’s the really important ones and the really bad ones (use your imagination). And that was the easy part, the next 2 years was a constant struggle to regain all the mobility, agility, strength, flexibility and overall fitness I had lost, shoelaces and taking a piss was a struggle to begin with. After countless hours of rehabilitation training and other more alternative ways of regaining what I had lost, I decided to educate myself in every way possible on how to better my situation, reading tons of books and studies on diet, nutrition, training, mobility, movement patterns, anatomy, medical science and so on, finding every bit of information I might find useful, with the more knowledge I gained I was slowly able to implement it into my everyday life, diet and training, and I learned exactly how to regain my mobility, strength, flexibility, #fitness level, ability to squat, deadlift, play sports and my #aesthetics, now I can’t stop searching for knowledge and new methods, while treating myself as a human ginny-pig, testing it on me at the same time.
